Bargains on ebay?

Completely forgot about the DM4's - and someone got a bargain! - but I was only after them on this occasion for cac duties, so my (cheeky) bid wouldn't have been enough any way.

Fantastic little speaker.

I will be using a pair of Wharfedale Diamond mk1 fitted in the 'Cornflake Shop' exoskeleton speaker stands at the Scalford show.

dont you just hate that? I snapped up a pair of B+W speakers for £32 on ebay a few months ago and when I drove 40 miles to pick them up,they were DM14 and not DM 4 as advertised, she showed them to me in the hallway,so no listening...told me her husband had just died and was listing all the stuff he wanted to sell before he went...I took them anyway without listening as I hadnt the heart to tell her he made a mistake,and even if they didnt work,the cabinets were gorgeous...they did,and I love those speakers now....and on original wooden stands too,every now and then I remember that lady with a tear in her eye as I was loading them in the car,her final words were..."look after them" ...and I am doing just that

Great deal you got there....my favourite small speakers are the TDL Nearfield Monitors..Super speaker for the money...enjoy the show

They were advertised on another forum for £200,got no bites,so now gone to £250....anyone ever used them, heard them,owned them?
They are a pentagon shape,like the old Clive Gibson Musical Technology Speakers
