The first 5 albums are really classy, granted proggy, but very good, 'Tales From Topographic Oceans' takes some getting into but I used to listen to it in my bedroom on cassette a lot in 73/74 and became quite familiar with it, I think there music takes quite a few listens. The Philips CD104B was my first player - and very good it was at the time. The trouble was that in trying to make it compact dimensionally the component density was very high, which compounded by the poor heat sinking, meant solder joints could and did fail.Quote:
