The whole thing is very like my HMV /ADC TT. Except for the straight arm , mine is S shaped , which , forgive an noob's observation , is downright much more sexy looking!!

Yes. They were no doubt from the same factory. As were some of the last BSR turntables.
A real rarity. Fidelity Research FRT-4 SUT. Not cheap at £500, but if it exceeds the performance of the very good FRT-3, it may be worth it.
