I'M GUESSING SOME OF THE PURISTS WONT AGREE WITH ME BUT, I THINK THIS IS A GREAT ALBUM !! I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE LADY GAGA GUEST VOCALS ON THE ONE TRACK THOUGH ?? THE STONES DON'T NEED OTHER PEOPLE REALLY TO GIVE THEM CREDIBILITY (AS IS THE CURRENT TREND BY A LOT OF BANDS/ARTISTS) !!!!
I like both unfortunately or not as you may see it. The Bright side is a firmer harder rendition with more instrumentation, harking back to the PG4 and PG5 feel IMO, that Dark side is an odd description depending on how you look at it, I think the mix is more stripped back and so some of the songs become more forceful in the vocal and lyrical impact, I think that makes sense.
