I read it and took the books content as a reporting of experience and hard facts. The silver Bridge collapsed and after it collapsed my understanding is the weirdness in point pleasant stopped. The bridge collapsed for structural issues nothing weird, so maybe coincidence, that all the other weirdness was going on at the same time.

Some have questioned some of what John Keel wrote but he isn't about to defend himself and I don't know enough about the issues to mount a defence or criticism. If even a small percentage of what is in the book happened, then our reality is not quiet what it appears to be.

Anyway it is a scary story.

Have to say the whole place when I was there had "something" about it that made me feel uneasy.

The Ghost and Mrs Muir (1947) starring Rex Harrison and Gene Teirney.. directed by Joseph Mankiewitz....Super light drama with Harrison at his best as a ghostly sea captain

In the end they achieved more than this - they eventually got equal pay; an achievement which was enshrined in law as the Equal Pay Act the following year.

A fascinating piece of social history; starring Sally Hawkins, Miranda Richardson and Bob Hoskins.

Really enjoyed that; been wanting to see it again and couldnt find the disc but it was available on A Prime. ***** film

Good film that..nice bit of Noir that I hadnt seen for some years.

going to watch the 1951 classic sifi film starring Michael Rennie ...The Day The Earth Stood Still. I always like a view of the delicious Patricia Neal as well:eyebrows:
