If you divide the number of people who want to slap Kanye West by the number of people who like James Corden you will always arrive at a really big number.

Ah, but in two years time it will not add up to 2018 which is how I read the joke riddle. :)

I guess it'll 'work' for everyone by 31 December.
Corden is infinitely worse than West. Can't even abide having him on the screen. My uncle was the same with Terry Wogan although that problems been solved for him now.
When Wogan was talking to the camera he had this habit of rocking from side to side, and the camera had to pan accordingly to keep him in shot.
If I'd been the cameraman I'd have kept the camera still, so he would keep disappearing off the screen. He'd soon sort himself out. Or perhaps they would sack me, especially if I said "It's him or me".
Russell Harty was the one I could never figure out. He came from nowhere, it seemed, to having his own prime-time interview programme. Not that he seemed to enjoy it much. He had some annoying verbal tics, too. 'You did, did you not ...?', or 'You have, have you not?'
Still, even Harty and Wogan combined singing The Floral Dance would be less annoying than James sodding Corden. A spot of National Service would do him good.
Joe, you did, did you not, see him getting some slaps off Grace Jones?
And speaking of slaps, I imagine James Corden's Sergeant would get in a few digs. "Corden, you fat little shit, why are your boots so filthy?" "Sorry sarge, I haven't seen my feet since I got up this morning".
I just farted a topper! A real gas-monkey... I'm getting a mixture of manky prunes and manure:D
Marco.
I could do with some too, for my annual night of passion, to prolong things. Probably work better than thinking of dead puppies.
I was just poking about on the forum and seem to have ended up here, so I thought I'd try and say something intelligent...................................... Hmm. Nope, it's not working! ;)
"It's coming home, it's coming home, football's coming home", that's as intelligent as it gets at the moment. :(
Yesterday I purchased an Aiwa AP 2200 turntable off e bay - post only !! Do I need certifying?
Stop it , now :eyebrows:
Double boxed and double packed I am told - Christ
I received a kit Pioneer amp a few years ago. Did not take that long to put it together, front panel badly bent, broken balance and volume controls, big dent in metal cover.
Did fix it, works, but does not look mint!
I had a GL75 arrive in fragments a couple of years ago. Sent loose in a box, with the lid and platter still fitted. And, I'd told the seller how vulnerable to damage turntables are and how to pack it safely. Of course he said it wasn't his fault and that I would have to claim from the courier. Bollocks did I! I just threatened to reverse the payment unless he gave a large partial refund. Which he did.............. eventually!
Who wants to receive an item that is just plug and play? Way too boring.
I am expecting it to be broken-anything else will be a bonus -cost me £59:)
Assuming it does arrive intact it looks like a lot of deck for sixty squid

Yes Martin . ;) Never really clocked Aiwa stuff much before . I have always had a yen for an Akai deck ,as they did make some real beauties .
When I saw this , I thought semi auto, , can maybe disable the auto return if need be , loved the all metal arm ,that reminds me of another I have seen
Direct drive and nice and heavy. Seen one compared to a Technics :eyebrows:
Made some nice gear did Aiwa. Check out the AX-7500 tuner-amp.
I liked the 'mini-compo' stuff they did. That still fetches proper money if you can find it.
Poetic Justice?

I like the way the lion on the left is licking his lips !!
And the one at the back is looking very pleased with itself
The anti-poaching team should gather up the teeth and bones, make them into costume jewellery and sell them on ebay. I'd happily bid on a chess set made of poacher bones. And if they don't have the stomach for this, sack them and buy more lions, that's what I say.
I like your thinking. Put a bounty on the poachers.
I suppose you have to get around the problem that if you do that some people will just whack anyone and claim they were poaching. I'd be considering it for one.
Yes the bones would have to come with a certificate of authentication (is that a word?) and maybe stamped with a lion symbol, like they do with eggs.
The only people with any right to be in the game reserves are the staff, the anti-poaching dudes and the safari tourists (we're easy to spot, we all look like Stewart Granger). People carrying signs saying "I am not a poacher" should be regarded with suspicion. Anybody else = lion food.
Well you can't ever have enough lions, that's been known since ancient times. Why not build a double perimeter around the reserve and pack the interior with lions? A couple of gates to get in and out, Gurkhas with AK47s manning them.
The lion perimeter will be self-sustaining with poacher-meat mostly, you might have to herd a bunch of giraffes or whatever in there from time to time just to top up the food supply, granted. But that's problem solved, really.
With enough television coverage, the lions could quickly gain celebrity status. Then they could "take the show on the road". The tour could take in the worst of our council estates. That show alone would be worth the licence fee.
And there'd be spin-off Channel 5 programmes like "22 kids and the lions ate nine of them" :)
'Benefits Britain vs Lions'
Channel 5 be all over that. Sky too. Narrated by Karl Pilkington.
You could have purpose built arenas. Much like the Romans did when throwing Christians to the lions was a popular pastime.
You could but I was thinking more like you fit mini cameras to the lions and the people and then you watch from both perspectives as they hunt each other in a desolate urban environment. And Karl Pilkington is attached to narrate. That's my pitch, take it or leave it.
I'd be rooting for our home-grown lions. They'd be the "Pride of Britain" :)
Karl Pilkington is a good choice. Love to hear him narrate Lions vs Ricky Gervais.
I'd be rooting for our home-grown lions. They'd be the "Pride of Britain" :)
Well there's a never ending supply of suitable candidates. The country is bursting with shiftless 'neerdowells'.
Some states in the US have a 'three strikes and you're out' policy, which means very long sentences for habitual offenders. We could employ a 'three strikes and you're ate' alternative.
The opening theme could be "In the jungle, the urban jungle, the lion sleeps tonight". I thought I'd squeeze that one in, even though it's a bit of a "Tight Fit". Sorry about that, it is past my bedtime to be fair.
I know - a show , a bit like I'm a slobrity , in the jungle ,Predators style , chuck the nobheads in and wait for the real predator to go to work :)
Could end badly for the lions. Firstly they would be confronted by a protective cordon of heavily armed bodyguards while the politicians make good their escape. Next, the lions would develop mysterious illnesses which will turn out to be caused by some nerve agent with an unpronounceable name. The Russians would be blamed for this, and they would retaliate by bringing bears to the party. Could get messy.
And even if the lions were victorious I'm not sure whether they would care for the taste. I'd imagine politicians would taste pretty bad, being that full of shit. May have to use them in a spin-off show, something a bit more 'sharky'.
The poachers and the hoodies would yield much leaner meat, due to all the running from the police.
