Very nice indeed and during my time in Japan I saw that Orient was a very revered brand.
That blue face Orient is the nicest Orient I have seen... excellent. Can I please ask if you have a source for that particular model, I've googled and looked on ebay but to no avail on that face. Cheers in advance
Orient make some exceptional watches
The one I’m really really impressed by is this. Getting more difficult to find.. especially when they can be had for around £250. Given the quality this is a steal compared with the majority of so called hi end watches.

So this is what was in my package from China.
Very impressed by the quality of the build however..

Yes, I had a Planet Ocean homage, gave it away when I got the real thing

Was going to go for the Omega at the end of this summer, but my consultancy work had taken a hit! (Not too mention the spends on my Technics SP10).
So pulled the trigger on this one. Whilst admittedly my judgement clouded by wine, kind of glad I did now. Confirms that I really like the watch style and presence.
So just have to wait for pension funds to recover (said the eternal optimist) and the world to discover a vaccine.

Nice... Time to post up some Omega's in the house...
Omega Speedmaster Schumacher Racing Limited Edition (total 4000 worldwide in four colours) made to celebrate his Y2K championship win and each numbered on the back.

At one point they were relatively cheap against other Speedy's though the silver face was always more a premium... But once money started making no interest they shot up... I have a dinky wrist so always loved the Racing with its smaller diameter...
That company has a ::*Invicta Aviator at about 90% off from 1200quid. Good price if they are legit
Was going to say if you go for it don't choose the DHL postage option, that attracts customs & admin charges, if you go for the post office option (about £6?) you don't get the watch box but you normally don't pay any extra + enter voucher code CA31E for another 5% off. Sorry, should have added that info before.
Another orient-al day

Nice Orient Roy.
Miller - I know a racing would not be for me, don't like too much going, but that looks classy.
Thanks Antonio... It was not on my radar as my cousin bought it new from Mappin & Webb then sold it to me for £300.00. I can never sell it and has to be passed down.Quote:

Citizen Eco-Drive GN-4W-UL my everyday light powered tool watch... Cheap but superbly made and built to take punishment with over 5 years of near everyday use including sports/showering/swimming it still looks excellent... Just wear and forget with no winding up or adjustments and keeping perfect time...

Strange coincidence, just logged on to post this!
Had this one getting on for 20 years, Xmas prezzie from my partner who passed in 2011.

Lovely watch Roy and your late partner had great taste.... Bang for buck I truly doubt you can beat a Citizen divers watch.... Cheaper Seiko divers in the same price range don't cut it though I have a 007 hanging around...
I can't argue about her inimitable taste obviously ;) . It was a genuine surprise that Xmas.
My love of watches makes it easy for me to buy for and although my current partner told me she wasn't really that bothered about watches she was over the moon when I got her this.

Kerching... I'm lucky as my lady only wears mens watches (other than the Citizen which is always on my wrist) she wears all the others more than I do...
When I see well dressed feminine women wearing a mans watches (more seen in France) I'm like "you go girl..."
Got her a mid-size Datejust for Xmas but she prefers her Tag.
Love that Citizen Roy,
Looked at that when I was picking up my SKX’s.
Speaking of which, this weeks “Lockdown wear”, the 009J on a Crafter Blue rubber strap.

I changed the ND type strap on this SRPA83K1 because it was a bit hard and ungiving, the Archer silicone is a lot more comfortable.

Never got on with the stock SKX strap, tried it a while but not so much.
You just "know" when the watch / strap combo works for you.
Had it on Nato's, leather Rally's but this is the only one that is made to fit in with the curve of the case, a small detail that makes such a big difference.
Of the watch's I have, this is my top 3 - more cost doesn't make a better watch
Love some of your Invicta's man.
Next to the SKX is my 116519L Oysterflex...its sentimental too...and that has the same watch/strap synergy.
Whatever your in the mood for on that day.
Yes, really like my Invictas (most don't). Even got the dive cases for them.

Goty cheapo white dial on. Its great value, looks smart and easy to wear. Oh and strap fits toohttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...30db3178e0.jpg
Very Bauhaus’y Grant, like that one.
Ridiculously large - check
Ridiculously heavy - check
Tasteless design - check
Not nearly enough contrast between hands & face - check
- Must be an Invicta :). Love 'em

Bloody ridiculous watch.
Won this today
Currently on a leather nato I think. Looks OK https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...56c5425fb6.jpg
Cool looking watch Grant.
Got another Divemaster today

nice. aragon use seiko movements i think... the boss watches were made by Movado so should be decent quality
Yup, as do Invicta, the ubiquitous NH35A.

Talking of Seikos, fancied a change
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...96d6a27f_o.jpg
This Invicta has an NH36A movement but I'm not sure what the subtle difference is to a 35?

"Anyone keen on watches?"
Nah, I've not got the time for them.:)
Nice sheen on that.. Not a mark on it

That is a nice looking watch there Grant. I do like simple, rather plain, but nice watches.
