Yes you're right. Must have deducted once too much.
Well anyway. They seem to drive alright. Need a little more volume than the Tannoys obviously. Well impressed with the sound quality via the Quad 306. I'll have to hitch them to an SM-70 and see how that pans out. I suspect it'll be very good.

Blimey! Been listening for a while and got the system nice and warmed up with these little KEFs. This is sounding seriously good. I'm getting mid depth and transparency on a par with the big Tannoys. No lack of bass or scale either. Top end is much cleaner than I remember from the T27 tweeter, but that may be down to the improved front end and the amplification I'm using these days. Still using the Quad 306 actually. Felt no great need to go back to the Class A stuff yet.
I like the old Coda III from late 70s, are these from the next range up? Or earlier? Coda III were a bit veiled in the mids but good tone and balance.
