Not if its been aged say 10yrs or more. Most change will be in first week of air getting at a bottle. Often improves it a bit by taking off the ethenol nose hit. I usually did this with a certain tennessee sippin' whiskey. Decanted it into 2 bottles. Improved it nicely.
You could set up a nice test. Take some that's been in a bottle for a year v some out of a new bottle. Blind test it. [emoji23]
