I heard it last weekend through those Klipsch Cornwalls, and it bowled me over. But I could yet be disappointed, it's happened before. In about 1977 I heard Fleetwood Mac's Rumours played through a pair of Yamaha NS1000Ms in a hifi shop. I was so impressed I left the shop and went over the road to buy the record. Didn't have quite the same impact through my Wharfedale Dentons. Still a classic though, it has seen me through all my system's incarnations :)Quote:

Back when this came out my boss's boyfriend was big pals with Dave Grohl. I told him to tell Grohl that IMO he had made a classic rock album.
Didn't expect him to actually mention it to him, but he did. He said Grohl was very appreciative and said 'Thank you'.
Read an interview with him not so long ago where he says this is his favourite of all their records.
