Needed something I'm well familiar with to try out a phono stage (EAT E Glo Petit) I have been loaned. I might be hearing slightly more detail than with my usual ProJect Tube Box, but it's subtle. What isn't so subtle is the difference in gain. I'm having to turn up the MF A5's wick to 12 o'clock, which would normally be just enough to blow the windows out. There are various gain settings on it, but I can't get them to do anything. A call to JacHawk later methinks.

Picked this up for a fiver at the weekend, and to describe it as NM would be an understatement. Looks and sounds like it's never been played, which is nice.
Only important if you want to restrict your collection to 50 or 100 titles.
As to the other performers you list, I could and do live with few titles from them all (though to my knowledge I have only one LP from "The Boss"). ;)
I don't have anything by Paul Weller, U2, Springsteen or REM. None of that music aligned with the way my brain worked, and still doesn't. Just not enough colour. Same with most stuff that could be described as 'Brit Pop'.
