We used to have a kiddy who raced around our town in a very tastefully modded (NOT!!!), bright yellow Focus with a plate that ended in "NOB". I always thought that was quite appropriate... :lol:
Of limited interest, but this was a bargain; they normally sell for around £500 or more!
Personalised registration plates are, in my opinion, the height of vulgar ostentation. Who cares if the letters match your initials?
They may have some investment value. One of my late father's cars happened to carry registration plate 1 RHW. These were neither his initials, nor was he interested in such things. He did however have them transferred to successive cars, simply because it was an easy number to remember. Some years later (this would have been about 25 - 30 years ago), he was approached by someone whose initials were 'RHW' and was offered £3500 for the number. My father declined the offer!
