The second of her trilogy, and the best imo. The title track (co written by David Bowie and Iggy Pop) I first heard in the early 80s at a hifi show demo'ing KEF's then flagship speakers, played very loud and I can still remember how the bass made my ears pop.
Largely an album of covers, though "Demolition Man" was written for her by Sting, so technically not a cover. The Police later released their (inferior imo) version.
For decades I didn't have anything that was 45rpm as my Linn LP12 was 33 only, and I never did anything about it.Quote:
