But not me, you don't really hate me do you? remember I gave you a cheaper option! Actually I have a sneaking suspicion that the ebony armboard will be an improvement even over your existing one: - keep us posted, I will be very interested to hear, and when back in funds may go down that route too.

I have a problem in that the V dosen't quick work with the MN platter and Resomat so Steve is making me up a new spacer, so I have only listened to a couple of sides of vinyl and I think I'm already noticing more detail coming out of the vinyl. This was noticable on Dream theater where I noticed some additional drum solo detail that just seemed to get caught up in the mix. I'm still reserving judgement and will report back later when I have had chance to install the new spacer and listen to a wide variety of musical styles.
In what way doesn't the SME work with the platter and mat?
