It was rather nice.
I think I need a grinder which I can use to single dose with.

Good hand grinder is the ticket. Keep those oils sweet

Bargain, and leaves you money for a weekend away somewhere rather than buying the Miele ;)
A nice Panamanian to open the days coffee consumption:eyebrows: should have a delivery today of more Ethiopian before it was all gone and broadway.. a Guatamala/kenya mix which I'm told is nice
The Sage SmartGrinder Pro is very good indeed. Mine is very easy to set up for consistent single doses - the control panel allows very fine adjustment of grind and time; also the conical burr grinder means that if I put a measured weight of beans in the hopper, all of them pass down through the burrs and into the receptacle underneath, which is not something that happens with flat plate grinders. By far the best grinder that I've owned, and much better than my Gaggia MDF and Nuova Simonelli Grinta MMT.
There is always some retention, although the new Niche grinder aims to really address this.
A Guatemala Kenya blend from Climpson. Rather good

Oh yes, it looks as if you could stand your spoon up in that! :respect:
Marco.
