Much better! In fact it was 'After the Gold Rush' that caused me to have a complete volte face with Neil Young. Before, I couldn't stand what I regarded as his weak and weedy-sounding voice, but for some unexplained reason all that changed "after the gold rush".
Still don't like his 'grunge' period.

pretty much same as me, he's done a lot of great albums but some real toss as well. I know there are people who like 'Trans' but I never got it.
'After The Goldrush' was a a favourite of a friend of mine (now long gone) and always reminds me of late evening round his place after the pub, smoking hashish. Great album.

Hallucinogen (Simon Posford)
This is a lovely re-release of 'Twisted' and 'The Lone Deranger' albums, on 180gm vinyl, in a lovely pack, I believe a limited run of 1800, I have 1425
Wiki "His(Simon Posford) first studio album, Twisted, released in 1995, is considered one of the most influential albums in the genre. In particular, the first track, "LSD", which remains the defining sound of Goa trance to this day."
Simon Posford went onto to be a founding member of Younger Brother and Shpongle, and has collaborated with many more.
