Had the winning bid on David Sylvian's Brilliant Trees album. Arrived today, so I fired up the stereo, ready. This is what I got instead.

Never even heard of them. I should have stayed with Music Magpie. In the meantime I'll give it a play. Have a look at the track listing. Could be really good or really crap.

It says on the inlay card "Dedicated to Paul Young 1947-2000". That's really confusing - last time I saw him on telly I thought he was looking a bit rough, didn't think he was dead though.

Ok, I get it now. Different Paul Young. This one was with Mike and the Mechanics, and died from a brain tumour in 2000, aged 52. This CD seems to be a tribute to him. And I have to say that so far, it's pretty good :) Shame it has to go back, but someone probably paid good money for this, quite a bit more than my Sylvian CD cost me.
