I'd agree with that. Hunky Dory and to a lesser degree Pinups are the only Bowie LPs I like and enjoy to this day. His later stuff I find unappealing and the last few albums, to me, are a dirge. Sorry to be controversial.Quote:

I used to have a copy of 'Pin Ups'. Thought little of it at the time and gave it away. There are very few instances of a cover being better than the original ('All Along the Watchtower' being an obvious example), and an LP of covers by a single artist is unlikely to be of interest to me. Though having said that, I do like Brian Ferry's debut solo LP, which is mostly (all?) covers.Quote:
