Portafilter basket question ?

Is there a std size mesh ?

should be the same on good machines. if your getting clogging then your grinding too fine. too fine and it becomes a turkish grind and wont work in an espresso.

also the better baskets have more uniform hole sizes. so its worth getting good baskets rather than cheaping out. but ecm ones will be fine

I have 3 baskets that look slightly different , I assume 2 are for either a double shot or single shot as one fits imside the other halving the anount of coffee it will hold , and a std one that holds enough for one drink

you get doubles and singles plus you get pressurised and non pressurised. the pressurised are double walled and are fairly obviously different. you probably dont have any.
Other kind you can get , but are non standard are naked ones, but dont come with a machine. But holes on a single and double will be same size
