around £400 is good considering those Mayware arms fetch over £200 alone. I got a spare motor for it is that's what it is. However it's sold now..

You need a low mass arm for that AKG. The 'LVX aint one.. The 'P8e' is a very high compliant cart of around 35x it would suit my arm to a 'T' :eyebrows:
The AKG P8ES works well in an SME 3009 (either 'Improved' or the Mk.II version, and either fixed headshell or detatchable headshell). IMO it is one of the best cartridge for rock music, though it was designed with classical music in mind.Quote:
