Most people would probably say Ziggy Stardust, but this is my favourite Bowie album, in fact my favourite album by anyone, ever :)

Ziggy Stardust does come a close second, followed by Aladdin Sane.

Unlike Ed Sheeran, Bowie's songs could never be accused of sounding like somebody else's, apart from his Anthony Newly-ish early stuff.

You and Adrian have been giving your ears a right old workout today :) I quite fancy trying a Donovan album, I'm only familiar with his hits. Would you recommend the one you played earlier, or another?

However if you want to hear Donovan from his hippy trippy days, then I would recommend his 'Gift from a Flower to a Garden' (the title say's it all).

My favourites are 'Ziggy Stardust', 'Heros', 'Low', and 'Scary Monsters'.

I used to have 'Pin Ups' but gave it away long ago.
