strap is tight so wouldnt be able to get it off ... plus my hands are not great with intricate stuff now. rudy is just too heavy tho.. like having a dog sitting on your arm

Messing with watch straps etc. is one of the things I do to try and maintain my manual dexterity. I have to leave some things and come back to them later to save the watch being worked on getting chucked out the window.

yup, my fingers are not great and eyes too. still i can still play with a pc :eek: the brain isnt affected....well not much :ner:

For years I have been wearing nato straps in the ‘conventional’ manner.
However after watching this I’ve switched and they are more comfortable now!

Thanks for that Steve, I've got a number of natos but can never get on with them but I'll try this.

I did wonder what a 'bund' nato was till I realised he was saying bond!

Friend of mine has all his watches on natos, including a vintage Tudor chronograph!

Yeah, I was starting to put some of mine back on bracelets because the NATO’s always seemed a bit ‘lopsided’
However they feel much more balanced now.
I wonder if they were always supposed to be worn the way this South African guy has shown?

Yes, black hands would match the batons better.

Changing hands would be a bit ambitious for me, I'll stick to changing & sizing straps & replacing batteries in the few quartz watches I've got. Good luck!

You may well be right Roy.
It looks simple enough on some of the YouTube videos I’ve watched.. but then by the time I’ve bought a bit more kit, and the hands etc it might be better to let an expert do it.
Changing that bezel was a lot more challenging than the videos make it look.
