seems a bit too cheap

Looks like some nut paid way too much for an empty pair of old KEF Concerto cabinets.

That's about twice what a mint working pair with drive units are worth in my opinion.
Authenticity That's what the buyer will be wanting, probably does not realise the cost..they are in very good condition {apart from the finish} it will be worth it for the buyer i suppose.
Wow, I've just been trying out my newly arrived ZYX R100 Yatra. I thought the regular R50 and R100 were great, this sounds really awesome. The sound is similar but more of it all, more expansive soundstage and depth, more impact, more sweetness and detail. The sound is literally seeming to construct itself in front of me independently of the speakers. And that's just through the little Usher S520s, which are astonishing me with their ability on the end of a good amp. God knows how this is going to sound through the Tannoys. All good stuff. Well pleased.
:clapclapclap:

deffo Tannoy silver monitor speakers
Not surprising. The seller obviously does not know what they have there. They look like Tannoy Corner York enclosures, which have Silver 15" drivers. They look near mint. Fabulous. Just watch what they sell for. It'll be well into the thousands. the Vintage dealers will be all over these.
(Ha. See Andr'e pipped me to the post :))

I have an old Monitor Audio 'Stylift' still sealed in the cupboard.
So why are Tannoy's so expensive?
As some may know I've owned a pair of DMT 15's and I was not impressed at all... ;)
You should hear a good pair on the right system. They aren't perfect (what is?), but what some of them can do is sheer magic. Mine definitely and they are my twenty second pair (got it properly right at last). I love the things.
Anytime you're in London give me a shout and you can have a listen.
here's one. I bought it to go with my old Monitor Audio 'ET500' Turntable but never used it..
Nice condition, id have that if i had the spare cutter mi Bruvvers
