Were I after a modern class D amplifier, the one you cite would interest me: reasonable price (£1,000); plenty of power (though I would regard it as 200W into 8 Ohm); excellent distortion figures, and the option of balanced inputs.Quote:

Definitely worth having as a back up. And if your speakers are reasonably sensitive they will go pretty loud. I used mine for a short time into my big 99dB Zu floorstanders and they went to neighbour-bothering levels no problem.Quote:
