You have done extremely well for £110, i would happily pay that to have a 2nd "test" deck for future modifications or even keep the deck as a spare, well done mate :cool:

Has anybody tried lead as a platter mat for the Teccy? I was just having a think about diy platter mats and thought a couple of sheets of copper or lead, with a label cutout on the top sheet and a bit of bonding might work a treat.
By the way, I said BONDING!! Don't want to get Marco over excited.

I thibk there are issues around legisation in producing a lead matt VPI used to do this with their heavy platter but had to stop due to changes in the law

I was thinking that a couple of small sheets of lead or copper wouldn't cost that much. Maybe even experiment with copper as well. Might sound like a load of crap, but could be a stroke of genius:eyebrows:
