Was really good live, remember seeing him sometime in the 70’s
Virtually anything by Ry Cooder is good - but I have my doubts regarding' Bop Till You Drop'.
It was Cooder's first digital recording, and it shows. Spatially all the musicians are flat and pop in and out like the flags on an old-fashioned cash register, or the ducks in a fairground shooting gallery. Shame because the musicianship and writing are up there with Cooder's best.

1987 AEROSMITH - PERMANENT VACATION; THE ALBUM THAT BROUGHT AEROSMITH BACK TO THE TOP !!! ABSOLUTELY CLASS ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH FROM ONE OF THE GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BANDS !!!!
Kindly given to me by JacHawk (cheers Mike :)) who managed to get two copies for the price of one. Tis as described, funky, jazzy, some parts do sound a bit Trombone Shorty, and with a strong electro element. Most enjoyable.
Mike, I see what you mean about the super-tight spindle holes, but not so much a problem on my non-bouncy deck.
