Although a lot of punk is known for being lo-fi, some of its earlier examples were very well produced. The sound on Fun House is vividly alive.

All Them Witches - Live on the Internet

I got into All Them Witches with Nothing As The Ideal. Blown away. I reckon that if we were back in the '70s they'd be huge. I guess it's a sign of how rock music is no longer so significant that they struggle to reach the fringes of the album charts here or in the US.
