Then you should know that the above should be 'dae'...;)

I used to like the Eccles cake sketch with Thora Hird and Alan Bennet on the radio 4 impressionist show ?( prog name escapes me ). Lives near me in primrose hill
feel like knocking on his door one day to see if he s got any onboard ( Eccles cakes that is ) and also just to hear an original Lancastrian accent.
Strange after all these years in London he still talks like a northerner.
Just been down to Sainsbury's - knew it was trouble when I saw how full the car park was. Just insane, hardly any way to move down the aisles the place was that full. Fortunately they had all the checkouts manned so got served pretty quick which was unexpected (as usual there was a massive queue of people waiting to use the self-checkout). There was even some money left in the cash machine! No apple danishes left though, again as per usual.
Anyway as far as xmas goes you can put a fork in me cause I'm done. Still got to go into work tomorrow but should get away a bit earlier than normal then not back in until 3rd Jan. Happy days.
Was going to go out first thing and beat crowds for a few things, but i was unable to make toilet without crying like a little girl, so thought better of it.[emoji23]
Bloody hell Grant, sorry to hear that, and you being teetotal anorl! Hope it improves soon :)
cheers, yeah ive added to my woes somehow... once medicated and sitting/walking about for a few hrs its bearable...:)
I know, just needed a few last-minute things I forgot to get last week. When I go I know what I intend to get but then when I get in there that knowledge disappears from my brain and I wander about aimlessly, buy a few things and leave. Then as soon as I get home I immediatley remember the things I intended to get and realise I haven't got them. I'm the same in record shops.
Make a shopping list before you go, then consult the list? Shimplesh:eyebrows:
Marco.
Make a list? I bet you were the sort of schoolboy who had all his felt tip pens arranged from darkest to lightest too. I was the sort who couldn't remember what I'd done with them after I'd had them last.
