Excellent album and excellent recording quality. Through my Maggie 1.7i's and SVS PB-1000 Pro subs, the performance is right here in my room and the sound is completely divorced from the speakers and subs. The front half of the room is completely gone as well.

Superb album. I have all of their studio albums, but this is the only one I don't have on vinyl. But the CD version is just fine imo, so no rush :)

No, don’t agree, their first was the grounding for the future way for them, in writing and style, set the scene for the superb ‘For Your Pleasure’ album.
Roxy had a completely unique sound in 1972, I was 14 at the time, many of my school mates just did not get them, including Virginia Plain. It wasn’t until around ‘75 that they moved to a more pop/rock sound, presumably driven by Mr Ferry’s wish to become famous and rich, but even then kept their distinct style.
