Anita and me are agreed that we would have kept £1.6 million, and given the rest away - mortgages paid off for all friends and family, and a nice system upgrade for all you lot! (she didn't actually agree to that last bit).
Still, my point is that I don't want all that money, just make me a target for scammers, kidnappers and scroungers. On second thoughts I may keep back enough to buy an island somewhere warm, with a few surface to air missiles to keep the cold callers away.

Broke people tend to lose all sense of proportion (assuming they had any) when they come into big money. Down to short sightedness and ignorance mostly I guess.
The last thing I'd do is buy a stable of flash cars and a huge fancy home. Might go for a new pair of slippers though! :lol:
I have some experience of 'winning big', and the satisfaction that comes from sharing your wealth.
I once won a really big Christmas cake in a raffle, and rather than scoff the lot myself, I shared it with all my relatives. That was a smashing Christmas, knowing I had brought joy to those less fortunate.
Better to give than to receive, as they say in prison.
I won a raffle at work, had to pick an envelope to see what I had got, turned out to be a tin of biscuits. Then, in a Bullseye-style 'look what you could have won' moment, the star prize was revealed to be permission to knock off three hours early. Gutted.
