Says listing has now ended… Coincidence? ;)
Marco.
Who's bought it then ? Come on up own up :D
Twin transformers [one for digital, one for analogue output stage], power supply large enough for a small amp, analogue output stage that wouldn't look out of place in a £1K player AND SACD compatible for £45 ? Someone's done alright
Full Pioneer Reference system  http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Sound-Visi...=spawnofdavros
This is a load of bollox. Michell dust arm (nasty thing), £135 'Buy it Now'!! I wouldn't give a carrot for it.
According to eBay these are "trending" at £300!! Oh yeah, on what planet might that be? Ridiculous!!!!!:mental:
'Trending' they say that on the radio now - 'lets see what's trending today' - what, is the word 'happening' not good enough now? Tossers.
Yeah its in the Facebook "trending news feed" as well... Must be a yank thing.
Is it cassette decks? I just bought this lovely Sony TC-K81.
Thought I'd included one.
Anyway: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Michell-sw...item20f3b35666
Never understood the thinking behind these things. If you need one then your record shouldn't be on the the tt in the first place.

I have one...........but worth £50 tops if that.........
:wowzer:
These look cute. They are the humble Audio Note P-Zereo Mono Blocks. I've never heard them, any good?
Coming in at 8 watts! Best really for efficient speakers.

These are good as they come, but with some tweaking they're a very class act indeed.
Apparently, these Heybrook Solo speakers are "legendary".
Funny, I thought they were a cheap vinyl wrapped basic model with economy drivers.

Thanks, Geoff. That's a really helpful answer. What do you mean by "true monitor speaker"?
The DM2 was designed as a serious, no compromise speaker to meet the highest domestic and professional (compact studio monitor) standards of its era. Many found their way into recording studios. The 1/8 wavelength transmission line cabinet was unique at the time and worked extremely well. They are very solid and rigid and surprisingly hefty. By domestic standards, the DM2 was up with the best on the British market.
Thanks.
Aye, good speakers the DM2. I found them surprisingly bass light but that was coming from IMF TLS50's... Would be interesting to hear another pair.
I know, I know ! Thats why I mentioned it... Calling them bass light out of context would have been misleading. I know Dave successfully used his with a Mini-T amp but I found they needed 100wpc+ to "wake up"... Mind you the same was also true of the IMF's.
Awesome!!!

Serves you right!
Actually about thirty years ago I bought a new (ex demo) Legend P300 MosFET power amp which turned out over 200 rather nice sounding watts and I used to drive all sorts of low wattage high sensitivity speakers to high levels with it without blowing anything (16 ohm 8 watt Lowther Acoustas for instance). Tell a lie. I did burn out a pair of loose, crummy little Whitely Stentorian HF812 5 watt units I was trying out (the HF1016s I had were far better and the HF1216 better still). I wonder if anybody here remembers those or for that matter the contemporary Baker speakers, they were OK.
Belated report back on this.

I have to say it sounds bloody good. Very transparent and clean. Lots of grip too, seems to have bags of grunt. Rather chuffed actually. :)

Beware item not working but advertised as working this was the one i had trouble with although i was given a refund to he's still selling it as working. Although i advised that it needs a lot of work why dont people listen :( pointless.
Report it to Ebay Dan, save someone buying a duffer.
