Good spot - will nab one.

PS - the first seller's 3mm version has just hit £67.50, three times what it was 6 months ago. I've heard about dynamic pricing but this is "unbelievable Jeff"!

This has been on for a few weeks now with no takers. Lovely bit of equipment. Asking price just too high.
control panel is different from memory but otherwise, yes. played very well
Not mine, I just spotted it in an idle moment.
With an A&R P77 and an ADC magnesium headshell, it has to be a bargain at £200.
Has the earlier steel chassis, always my preference.

And the seller is even open to offers :)
JM Lab/Focal 926 bargain. Collection only from the end of the earth though:

Used to have one of these plus two of the matching ST88 tuners which are very cute:

Should have kept them.
He's asking way to much IMO. Sweet amp but no power at all - you'd have to pick your speakers very carefully.
Pretty tidy. I wouldn't let the distance put me off - I'd make collection part of a weekend away, Launceston looks quite nice.
I would tend to agree with you, if I hadn't visited Penzance. Every other street corner was populated with what appeared to be homeless bagheads, some of which were sufficiently sentient to openly beg, the rest either unconscious or regarding their surroundings with a 'thousand yard stare'. The public toilets all had signs warning of discarded syringes.
And when we tried to leave, their weird road system did its very best to keep us there. Rather like Jim Carrey in The Truman Show.
Yeah I don't think it'll be lesbians, they really don't cost much to maintain. But disabled, cyclists, ethnic minorities, any group specific enough to have its own 'community', lots of opportunities for public money intended for wheelchair access, cycle lanes and community centres to go walkabout.
In Preston it's the cycling (fraternity? community?) that's had the most money chucked at it. Much of the dual carriageway running through the city is now 2-way single carriageway, with the other side devoted to 2 wheels. And this pic shows just a small part of what they've done here. All they need now is some cyclists willing to use it.

just a massive waste of money. The road up to work has cycle lanes both sides, rarely see them used. Last time I saw a cyclist on one was months back and he was going the wrong way.
They're all on the pavement, weaving in and out between the pedestrians at reckless speeds.
you wanna check out brighton if you like cycle lanes, its mental!
I noticed on the main junction I cross every day they've upgraded the 'Walk' sign to this:
https://i.ibb.co/M9FD0gg/green-pedes...s-AN3-C0-H.jpg
Why? In what circumstance would it be safe for a pedestrian to cross and not for a cyclist to do so?
When would it be safe for the cyclist to cross but not the pedestrian?
Just a colossal waste of my money.
Especially as the cyclists will completely ignore it anyway.
Apart from the small issue of death/serious injury, it's all stacked in the cyclists' favour - if a bike and a car had a coming-together and it was the car driver's fault, his insurers would have him in a world of financial pain. Whereas if it was the cyclist's fault he'd just do a runner. Cheaper to abandon his thousand quid (probably stolen) bike than cough up for repairs to the car.
Though I do appreciate that these will be the minority, and most cyclists are responsible adults with adequate insurance cover.
Worse than that - cyclists are not subject to the Highway Code or of the associated laws.
As displayed by an incident a few years ago when a cyclist killed a pedestrian, the cyclist could not be charged with manslaughter, and was eventually charged with some arcane law going back to the 18th century concerning horse riding!
Not ebay but check out these speakers:
https://skyfiaudio.com/en-gb/product...ith-30-woofers
They've got a lot of pretty tidy speakers but don't get your hopes up, they're in America.
And with a 30" woofer, I bet they fart and belch like a trooper! ;)
Marco’s Tannoys earned the nickname “wardrobes” but those take it to the next level and then some!
If you're finding that an increasing number of mini items are populating your shelves this looks like quite a neat solution for not a lot of money.

After hearing some Canton speakers at the last NEBO, and then Ken (Qwin) buying some from abroad, I thought these might be worth posting. A couple of scuffs which could probably be fixed cheaply, otherwise they look very tidy. Not the same as Ken's but similar.

Lovely and fair price too given the condition. Can't be many left like that
If I had a use for them I'd have them:

Look great, but the amp doesn't have a lot of welly (22 wpc). My mate has a TA-2650, which looks almost exactly the same and makes 43 wpc. He has it going into some B&W DM603s I gave him, and the combination isn't great. Not horrible, just very un-dynamic with weedy bass. And I know they weren't like that with my old MF Electra E100.
There's a cassette deck that will go with them, and if put together with some speakers that don't ask much would make a handsome little vintage set up for not a lot of money.
Those Cantons have been re-listed, now 100 quid less than before.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166915842...Bk9SR9zP65KxZA

You never see these - Wharfedale CRS9 - from the early 1990s.
I had the CRS3 for a while, the little ones, they were really good. Always wondered what the big ones would be like.
Sony APM77 - lovely. Top dollar but still very tempting.

Ok, not cheap, but compared to the £14k+ list price, not bad at all. But they are rather large...
