To be fair, I've only listened to a small amount of Porno For Pyros and all I can say is that they're not Jane's Addiction!!! The main element that made Jane's addiction what they were (in sound and style) was Dave Navarro and he isn't there in Porno For Pyros; Dave brought the metal, the rock and the funk! Porno For Pyros were a little more psychedelic and less powerful. Jane's Addiction were a breath of fresh as were Love/Hate (another vastly underrated band)!!! :)
