Car (or bike) Chat!

Garage depending, my Land Rover should be back on the road at the weekend - this is the state the poor thing was in a month ago after nearly 2 years sat under a tree!

Virtually everything underneath is either being replaced or refurbished: Brand new galvanised chassis, refurbished and galvanised bulkhead, complete suspension replacement with +2" lift and pro Terrafirma kit, new fuel tank and system, brake lines and hoses, axles refurbed, electrics rewired etc. etc. - Here's a few pics of the progress so far:

Must admit I am looking forward to getting Maggie back - but not settling the final bill!!!

Why does the Landy have curtains in the windows? I mean I know it belongs to Alex and all but that just looks wrong. It's not a VW camper!

Ha ha! Was originally converted for expedition use, so was sort of a camper. but yes, it will be curtains for the curtains! (Or get some lilac ones!)

Yes, but this one is a little bit bigger, on the inside.

Later ones - it's a Rover engine. I think the Metro started with the A series from the Mini?

Updated to the "A-Plus" series.
