Lol... Those are (minus the rather fetching green-coloured formica) exactly what I bought from Big Ears Audio. My LMs also had Reds inside, but I later changed them for Golds, preferring their overall sonic presentation in my system.
Most interesting that these have come from Rockfield Studios, where more than a few classic albums were produced!! :respect:
Marco.
£1900.00 for those is a bargain, if I only had the space.... I wonder which studio they came from? I know and have used the Rockfield ones in the past. A pair of The Who's Lockwood/Reds were sold recently. I have the Eatons out of studio 2 at Tin Pan Alley Studios (as used by Pete Townsend) which will be refurbished this year.
For those that groove on Deccas and Hadcocks.
And, I suppose, the Technics SL-1500.

I personally do not like those arms. However you can still buy Armboards, Springs & belt for these decks for full service..

This beast has been on eBay for a week or more now. A day and a half to go as I write. You don't see many like this nowadays and with a 3009 thrown in...

If it were a '520' with the big brass platter it would have gone high..
This dealer in Germany appears to have an amazing collection of refurbished, high end, heavyweight 80s turntables available.
A one year warranty adds some confidence to their condition.
This Luxman is stunningly beautiful. :)

Not going to be a bargain but qualityscarecity and desirability rarely is.
Perfect for those 3 channel Mercury & RCA SACD's :)

What's the story with single sealed blank cassette tapes costing up to £75?
I completely agree - I meant mad in good way! :eyebrows:
Marco.
I was tempted by this 1930's BAF amplifier but missed out. Probably a good thing as I'd have been on an eternal quest to find another. I have seen one other some years ago in poor condition with valves and field coil speaker missing. BAF amps usually used the field coil to provide bias so it's good to see it still with this one. :)

You probably think I'm off my head, but I love the LOOK of that - dust roolz! :eyebrows:
Marco.
A pair of what may be Tannoy York speakers. The seller doesn't know how to check. The dimensions and cabinet construction look like Yorks, which means these will likely have 15" Golds in or possibly Reds (but I'm not sure those terminals would be right for Reds). Could be a serious bargain. Shame I don't have the room.

The bidding is moving at speed on this Sansui AU-919 integrated. Up to £390 with over six days to go. Not surprising, it's a lovely bit of kit!

£75 for a Sony TA-70 amp? £7.50 more like. These were the very bottom of the range. Well built, but low spec and cheaply finished.

These Pioneer SE-100 electret headphones are very nice. I had a pair years ago, decent sound.

The cheapest Haddcock 228 (boxed) I've ever seen went for £95 earlier today. 201100046164. Nevermind. I got this recently: 271510576390.
Wonder how James is with his house move.
15" Western Electric 2080-A drivers 16 ohm. Lovely vintage units, wish I had room for boxes to do them justice.

I remember a friend exclaiming to me "better than Bose?" when at the time I was using Exposure amps and Amphion Argon2 speakers. Marketing...
I had a work colleague who knew I was "into Hifi" and said to me "Bose is the best isn't it?" I said if you think it is - that's all that matters. What did he buy.....? Answers on a postcard to..."Bose is the best hifi in the World" PO Box B.O.S.E Hitler, Surrey.
I already have 3 pairs of these.
