Asking stupid money for it as well!

unbelievable!
Fair point - maybe not so obvious as many people have bid on it.
The seller has listed with email address to buy outside of eBay for a price much lower than market rate. Its a stock picture, theres no description of age condition etc.
What generally happens is the fraudster says his PayPal account is broken and requests a bank transfer payment - all outside the rules of eBay with no protection for the potential purchaser,
Heres some chat around the scam.

I find Bouncy Bouncy deck way too much hassle these days. I dont think im wrong if i say people prefer to use a deck without..I was gonna use a Systemdek again but decided against it.
They are quite rare

Mission 752 Freedoms - An excellent and 'organic' classic speaker - Giveaway at this price, even before the best offer. Wont be around long make no mistake.
Pity the blurb is about the metal dome original and not the revised and better IMO & IME, Freedom's https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mission-7...ea5dR#viTabs_0
Kinda fell out with Mission after the Silver Hammertone Baffle models..
A proper turntable

Did you know when the Zero 100 came out it was more expensive than the '401' which they were still selling at the time
I loved my 0-100, whicvhnI bought by walking down the road from Bush House to Fleet St, and later the SB, lovely industrial design, and it gave years of good service, molysliped of course.
Good point Adam.
Regardless of the details provided in this Comet ad, the SL95B and the SP25 that I purchased at the time came with a plinth (SL95) and without a plinth (SP25), although the difference for the SP25 with a plinth and nominal cart would have been around £10...!
Considering the 401 required a plinth (?? £10), tone arm (??SME 3009 £25) and cartridge (??Shure V15 (£28) and would have been considered as a 'reference source' it would have been not far short of £100......
Wonder if they have any potential.

I seem to remember them for some reason, Thats a 1980's Sony colour scheme. However its the early 70's Sony speakers i thought were alright.

He means even at £10K they still are too bloody dear
I still don't what 'they' are. Is it the item in post 10080 ?
Seen as its £60K im assuming so
It's a Golmund. Used to be reasonably good gear made in Switzerland, but it wasn't selling well, so they doubled the price of all their products and targeted the Asian wealthy.
OOPs , sorry , sometimes when you click on a thread , it brings you in on a page where you last visited and I didnt see all the following replies that had moved the conversation on !!
Yes , the Golmund ! It said £50 off , I thought 50,000 off and still way too expensive at £10,000!!
But after all, I am a mere peasant who knows nought about such things ;)
They were good. Built like a tank too

Good speakers but i prefer the early ones with the Audax Tweeter
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-M...sAAOSwc15eYsKs
They did not fetch much at one time, The Elite Rock 2 that is.. but they seemed to have gone up in price
You nutter  Great bottom end on em
Get him down a bit on the price should be a good enough deal

They were a nice deck. Brushed stainless top plate.. I didnt like how the fixing studs were welded on inside nor the flimsy woodwork inside. A new wooden surround would be easy as it sat on a metal pan base that had the power switch & speed controls.. They used the Paspt flying saucer motor.. I still prefer the 'RD11S' to the 'Superiour'
Id personally remove that SME 'III' arm..
