Not big on Champagne, as I think a lot of it is vastly overpriced for what it is, especially the entry-to-mid level stuff. Some of the top vintage varieties (Dom Perignon, etc) can be excellent though, but you're over £100 a bottle for those.
English sparkling white (which to all intents and purposes is 'Champagne', although they can't call it that) can be very good indeed, especially stuff from small, specialist producers, and is much cheaper than vintage Champagne.

IMO, it's WAY better than Moet, and up there with a good Pol Roger, so that's one for 'fizz lovers' to look out for.
