Ap2's! Both drivers are Vifa are they are really decent, not to say very good with the apropriate amp.

Yes, even with the water damage they are worth having. Looks like the bass drivers are affected as well and likely need reconing. A good few quid's worth of bits there though, the compression drivers, horns and lenses have to be worth a couple of hundred. Not my favourite JBL, very coloured, I've heard them a good few times.Quote:

Bass drivers look fine to me. They are LE15b's which have corrugated surrounds rather than foam but they were not one of JBL's best ( actually bloody awful) and are responsible for the colouration you mention.Quote:

No. Not heard of those, but they look rather well made. The bass drivers look somehow familiar, nice cast chassis by the look of them. The tweeter looks to have a silk dome too.Quote:
