What Jazz or Blues are you spinning?

Charles Lloyd is, IMO, hardly the best saxophonist around, but this is pleasant enough:

Barry lovely choices there matey, the Mingus is the dogs dangling bits! ...I however have to slightly disagree with you on the Charles Lloyd Quote... IMHO he is a true giant and will be appreciated when he has gone more than he is now. The work he commits to disk with ECM is in part extraordinary. I personally love his tone, being slightly left and free but very accessible to which I know is perceived opposites. At least I get away with his Tenor horn sound with my lovely wife's approval. Lloyd and Coltrane are the few she can appreciate(not comparing him to JC!) He's sublime live too in his later years. If you get the chance to see him now grab it!
