Proper rain here all of a sudden, it's knocked out the satellite signal. Good job Bargain Hunt was on earlier :)
Stopped now but we had about an hours worth in 2 separate lots.
15c and dry at the moment but more rain due.
24c and overcast at the moment, sunny spells expected and up to 26c this evening. Bit of a breeze, but no precipitation predicted. Ever again, evidently… :eek:
Sunny here but only 18C and won't get warmer today. 40 percent chance of rain later too.
22C, overcast with a good chance (47%) of rain midday. Temperature only expected to reach 26C later.

Not all auction houses look like Sotherby's or Christie's. It doesn't matter what they look like, their sole purpose is to get the highest bid for their customers.
I would say their sole purpose is to get as much money for themselves as possible. If you sell something through an auction, "auction fees" are deducted from the final price. If you buy something at auction, "auction fees" are added to what you pay. So they're making a profit at both ends. Bunch of bandits :(Quote:

The rain that was forecast yesterday didn't materialise - where is it all going? Not here, that's for certain. :doh:
We got nothing too but it's forecast again for this morning although no sign of it yet.
A bit cooler today, 12c so far and dry.
14C still no sign of the rain. Gone below 22C in my living room now.
We got some rain last night, but not enough to fix the lawn. Hopefully we'll get more today.
A coolish 16°C this morning, but that suits me fine.

Anita's gone out for the day to Blackpool Sea Life Centre. Gone with her son and two granddaughters. Nobody asked me if I wanted to go, but then there wouldn't have been room in the car. She'd have been better off just taking me, I wouldn't have been constantly pestering for ice cream like I know they will.
But I will get to play unlimited tunes, so there's that I suppose.
And if an ice cream van visits your neck of the woods, you can enjoy both. :lol:

She does, it's just my music she doesn't like... actually that's not quite true, the issue is that I'm deaf as a post, and she has hearing like a bat, so there are some disputes over acceptable volume. Things have got better with the new speakers, which sound much more convincing at modest levels.Quote:
