The 160 looks to be coming along nicely Mike.It deserved better than sitting doin' nowt in a spare room.Look forward to hearing it.

Aye it is and thanks for the donor deck mate, i've actually ended up with 2 TD160's, as you know i wanted to get an SME 3009 arm for it and as it turned out it ended up being just as cheap getting one with a deck attached to it so at least i've got spares, btw if there's anything you want, lid, plinth etc. just let me know.

Honestly Grant NEBO is my favourite event, there is always a great bunch of guys that attend and not just from the north east, Steve does a brilliant job organising it the last couple of times it's been in the function room in the Wellington pub, not the largest venue but the eating and drinking facilities are 1st rate, it would be great to see you there.

Well, funny you should mention it. I was thinking about this only today. What I would like to know from folks wanting to attend is , when do you/they think it will be appropriate or indeed safe for them to attend? This will give me an idea of when to hold the event. Please share your thoughts enlightened people of audio land.
As long as we follow the government guide lines the sooner the better for me mate.
Not wanting to be a party pooper but I am listening to my head and not my heart ...I can’t see how considering the size and layout of the room that social distancing etc can be achieved..if a vaccine is created and administered very soon then maybe yes it could happen ...The majority of us attendees are in the risky area.so it is worth thinking it through and not make a hasty decision..
An organiser for a different passion is trying to arrange a get together, the current guvmunt guidelines is 6 people maximum.
This needs to change I believe before NEBO can go ahead, as depressing as that is.

Fair comment Gaz. I was thinking of late November. However, I will review this in the coming months.
Honestly I can see there being a spike before Christmas and I can't see the regulations regarding social distancing changing much before there's a treatment or the infection rate drops to zero, so unfortunately i think we're buggered.

it's mainly in east Lancs and greater Manchester, i'm in Chorley and here we're ok for the time being, but there's all sorts of confusion about what you can and can't do and the government as usual are making everything as clear as mud
