Nah, you're a dude!:)
Marco.
A few years since I went in a Wetherspoos. That would be the Preston one.
There was no music at all playing, and someone told me it was so people can have a conversation without having to shout. But the sound of several hundred people having a conversation was so deafening you had to shout to make yourself heard.
I'd rather listen to loud music than loud pissheads, so it was a big thumbs down for me :(
afternoon turned out ok. sunny for a good while and dry..dulling down now
was wet again overnight.. dry now and about 13c..breezy and mostly cloudy. wont improve me thinks
Wet again here last night, and that wasn't just my pants...:eyebrows:
19C now, and bright and sunny!
Marco.
gloomy.. 13c.
wet and gloomy this morning
Currently a little cloudy, but dry and 20C. Suits me fine, as I need to strip and repaint all the wood on our front door and porch, ready for the winter!
Marco.
Indeed, and for doing some DIY:)
Marco.
Was very windy and heavy rain here earlier but calmed down a bit now. Remanants of 'Dorien' supposedly.
Your postie might not be keen on the meat, but there's still the two veg :eyebrows: Did you see the video of my brother I posted on "Tell Me Something..." thread? Better looking than me, but I have a nicer stereo :)
Yes, he would give the term 'what a ball ache' a whole new meaning. He'd also be good value in a ménage à trois;)
Marco.
Beautiful morning here in Wrexham, bright, sunny and blue skies! Set to be lovely all day today, and especially tomorrow with highs of 21/22C! Happy days:cool:
Marco.
Same here. It was 22C yesterday, should be warmer today. Last night was very mild too.
nice and sunny today here.. top temp will be 15c, but no clouds at all
been a lovely day. not especially warm but very pretty and calm.
Met an old work mate for a couple of pints and cycled into town- lovely sun all day, 20c. A bit hotter over the weekend expected - BBQ weather on Sunday I reckon. :)
No, tomorrow's supposed to be the nicest day of the weekend, mate. Not Sunday, which will be cloudier. Check the forecast for your area and make sure that you're planning your weekend BBQ around the nicest/warmest day:)
Marco.
Dry and pleasant today, rain on the way though.
Been in sunny Lancaster all day, and it was too. Chilly start this morning though.
only 8c but sunny, and will warm up hopefully.
Overcast here, but dry and 14C. Come noon, however, the forecast says it's to be sunny for the rest of the day.
Still got stuff to do in the garden, and in preparation for a dinner party we're having with some friends this evening. This chap's somewhat of an enophile, so will need to uncork and decant some of my 'special' bottles for the Beef Wellington!
Marco.
give him some bucky; that aught to smarten up his taste buds :eyebrows:
Lol - I could pour it into a decanter and tell him (he's English) that it's an unassuming little vintage, with a 'charm' of its own, from a heritage estate in Scotland...:eyebrows:
Marco.
The sun has got its hat on today
Bit of a chill in the breeze :)
Did you forget to shlip on your wooly tights, shweety?
Marco.
Crept up to 12c now.
How did you get on with this  Did it do the Job :D

Turning out to be quite a nice day
I was wondering where it was brewed so I looked it up. it doesn't say but some of the other stuff on there is hilarious:
Several Scottish politicians and social activists have singled out Buckfast Tonic Wine as being particularly responsible for crime, disorder, and general social deprivation in these communities.
Although Buckfast accounts for only 0.5% of alcohol sales in Scotland, the figure is markedly higher in Lanarkshire.[17][18] Helen Liddell, former Secretary of State for Scotland, called for the wine to be banned.
In 2005, Scottish Justice Minister Cathy Jamieson suggested that retailers should stop selling the wine. On a subsequent visit to Auchinleck within her constituency, she was greeted by teenagers chanting, "Don't ban Buckie".[19]
Jamieson then received correspondence from lawyers acting for Buckfast distributors, J. Chandler & Company, in Andover.[20] A further consequence was that Buckfast sales increased substantially in the months following Jamieson's comments
The beverage has entered the popular lexicon with nicknames such as "Wreck the Hoose Juice",[13][14][15] "Commotion Lotion",[13][14] "Cumbernauld Rocket Fuel",[14] "Mrs. Brown",[13] "Buckie Baracas",[16] "Coatbridge Table Wine",[16] and a bottle of "what the hell are you looking at?"[16]
lol, yup, its full of caffiene so keeps you hyper while the aclohol lowers any social consience you might have. Trouble is you just stay awake for too long and drink more of it or get violent
my mate next door is from harthill so was bottle fed on it after a short foray on the teet;)
They sell it in my local offey but the bloke says there's not much take up for it.
Here they mostly go for that cider that looks like a bottle of drain cleaner along with a charger of spice or monkey dust.
Monkey dust - what be that?
Marco.
its a type of drug.
Yeah I know, but what kind? Is it a type of Coke or what? What's it based upon?:)
Marco.
its a designer drug..methylenedioxypyrovalerone

a West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic reportedly described how driving through Stoke was "something like a scene from the Living Dead".
Jeez, you wonder what drives folk to take that shite? Are their lives *that* bad that they have to block it all out....? Or what's the attraction?:hmm:
Marco.
IME some people will take anything that's going. Doesn't need to be any reason for it.
There's always a reason... No-one 'normal' (happy and contented with life) would touch that shit.
Marco.
Nobodies happy and contented all the time.
Sure, but you need to be pretty fucked up to take that shit. Even when I was a teenager, aside from the odd spliff and a few magic mushrooms, I stayed WELL clear of anything heavier. I didn't need to 'escape' from anything. There are plenty of such 'zombies' too around Wrexham town centre, mostly on 'spice'..
It's a sad reflection of our society.
Marco.
I consider myself to be reasonably happy and contented with life, but if something looked like fun, I wouldn't let anyone tell me not to do it, preferring to do some research then make up my own mind. Amazing I turned out normal really. Having said that, this monkey dust does NOT look like fun :( I worry for the kids of today.
Lots of sunshine today to keep me happy and contented :)
I've noticed that people who have always been wealthy do a lot more drugs than people who have always been poor. You'd think it was just a question of economics and most of the time it probably is. But I've known a couple of poor people who totally cleaned up their act when they got wealthy, no more drink and drugs, healthy eating, running, cycling. And yet they were chronic users previously.
