Ok cool, will bring them along.
We can join forces if you like Alan, could use the OB's with your gear.
Yes sure Ali, isn't that what NEBO is all about
Just thought it would save you bringing speakers if space was tight. :-)
It warms my heart to see the spirit of NEBO already setting in even before the event.
Only a couple of days to go chaps. I am really excited about NEBO 10 as t is a milestone event. I plan to have a tootle along to the venue on Friday to try and organize the room by clearing chair and tables etc. As mentioned previously we need to make the best of the room and space we have and i would appreciate suggestions from attendee's of last years event. Good solid supports would be good if anyone has one or two they can bring along. I plan to get there in good time to get things kicked off so i may take a pair of small stand mounters to get things started before the serious gear arrives. Looking forwards to seeing you all. for those coming from afar have a safe journey. I look forwards to seeing you all and meeting any newbies or interested parties. See you down there...
Too far for me, but this is fantastic, and exactly what this hobby and AoS should be about - hope you have a great bake-off, folks. :)
Really looking forward to this. Staying with family in Yorkshire at present and will be there bright and breezy on Saturday. My brother in law is coming along too to enjoy the day. There was no room in the car over from N. Ireland for anything big but I've brought my little BTE Passive preamp with Khozmo stepped attenuator if it's any use to anyone. It's designed for power amps with high input sensitivity so it gives you a usable volume range not just the first few degrees.
See you there!
I'll be along around midday...
Will fetch my Regas (veterans of many a NEBO) a battleship CD player, a little pre-power set up and a bunch of CDs, DAC and laptop.
Cool. And that little 20wpc amp
I may need a hand to carry the Naim 555 up them stairs ...whilst the player has a wonderful analogy sound ,both it and the power supply are heavy things .I’m not as fit now and it ain’t a straight forward carry ..hoping in anticipation 👍😀
Can't wait NEBO is a highlight for me
Well ,more or less ready for the off tomorrow, hope everybody has a safe journey (and home again).Trying to bring something different from the usual but that will have to wait 'til the day See you all tomorrow.....Mick
Yep, looking forward to seeing the guys from the last time again and meeting new folks.
See you there.
Morning all. Well, it's here, NEBO 10. All we have to do now is turn up and enjoy the day. I spent the afternoon arranging chairs, tables and clearing excess debris which hopefully will allow us to make the best of the room. The room isn't the most conducive to Hi-Fi with it's wobbly uneven floor though The Wellington is without doubt the most enchanting. It's a lovely room as is the pub with lots of character having that village hall feel to it. So, far from perfect though i can't think of many better places to celebrate our tenth (yes tenth) event. All that is left for me to do now is wish those of you traveling from afar a safe uneventful journey and hope that you all have a cracking day. as always i look forwards to seeing all of the regular Neboites and meeting those attending for the first time and local folks curious to know what is going on upstairs in their local pub. I noticed yesterday that bunting had been strung from the beams whitch i began to take down. However i decided t leave it as it was more fitting that it remained due to our tenth celebration and the fact that it may help break up standing waves etc. See you down there............
Happy 10th NEBO :)
Hope you all have a safe journey and a great day :)
Please mind the photos for those of us who can't attend :)

I think folks may be struggling to find pictures without certain products on to post here. I may be wrong. Fabulous day though with great music and some great kit. There was some casualties though unfortunately.
AoS rules are still in place, please adhere to them. Thank you.
If anyone wants to post ANY content they wish, you can do so here:

You'll need to sign up and the only way to upload pics is via an image hosting site.
NEBO 10 would be a welcome addition to the reading.
ImGurs a great hosting site since Photobucket went greedy
I usually use imgbb. Very reliable and no sign up required
Whatever you choose, as long as its free lol
SO no pics of NEBO 10?
Have to agree Steve, getting a bit silly this.
I’m sorry, but I’m not joining another forum just so I can read about this event - can’t we just have it here?
+1
The thorn has gone.
I have no issue with the ban in question and would suggest that anybody writing about the event can surely work around it. If this means an edited version then I’m also fine with that.
Steve said a few words before the event got underway which were touching and fair.We then went on to have a very good day ,especially towards the end of the evening. It seems to me that it somewhat spites those who would have liked to have attended, but because of issues such as distance etc , could not,are unable to see a few photo's.It will be a shame if politics spoil what is always a good day.
Here is the thing, you folks are members of this site and not the sites owner, or moderators, and as such while opinions are valid and listened to ultimately the site owner says what is and isn't ok. There is an ethos and a few rules and this is one that is still in effect. You don't like that I get it, but it is what it is and it was felt, note the plural, so not one view that while personal galleries can have photos of said unsaid kit and model number there, this thread was in danger of breaking the rule. There were hints at this, reference to some people not being able to post photos because they would break said rule. I wanted to remind folks about said rule to clarify the situation.
This thread should not become a bitch fest about that.
So the moderators/owners need to support Steve and those who attended the meeting in explaining the photos are not being displayed because of the site managers decsision and not Steve and attendees.
And also that this may affect the ability to post future phots of meetings.
Good to see Steve is posting elsewhere to avoid this #########.
