Here at the start of the Cheshire Cat 100mile cycle sportive.
I'm in the CSC jersey, another forum member is also on the start line.

Yesh the Daftee in the silver n red lycra number looks familiar:lol:
Here we go then, me on the left, with Tommy Victor of thrash metal band Prong.
http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp125/pogoyen/2.jpg
Have a feelin me and Dunc saw prong...was it supporting Faith no more or Warrior Soul?..there again it could have been RATM in Liverpool.
Lets ROKK!.
Prong were a fantastic band. I saw them back in '91 in a double bill with Godflesh. One of the best gigs I've been to - period!
OK,
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, as they say :)
Herewith a picture of me holding one of our cats (the one on the right) and one of my daughter's. For the avoidance of doubt, I'm the one in the middle. ;)

Cheers,
Wow Dave, I havent seen a pussy that big since I err... well the less said about that the better...
(nice pic, gorgeous cats)
Edited for common decency
:lolsign:
:)
Errrrrm, surely half a face is better than no face? Quite a few members of Admin (well, one I can think of anyway, probably on the run from the mafia :smoking: ) has refused to show even half of a face. He probably doesn't have a picture of himself with full make up on or in a dress that we haven't all seen before. .
Cheers,
 My favourite stuff is from the Beg To Differ / Third From The Sun era. Prove You Wrong didn't do so much for me and I've not kept up with their latest stuff. I'd not even realised they'd reformed! It's good to know they're still going.
It was still a great gig. Did my first proper stage diving there, The Venue in New Cross :fingers: :fingers:
Prong? Sorry, chaps, never heard of them!
Marco.
P.S Dave, I'm not a 'photo person' and so don't have anything of me that's less than about 15 years old, and even then I wouldn't know where they hell it was, far less have the wherewithal (or necessary paraphernalia) to scan it onto a computer to post it here! ;)
Hi Mike,
They are nice cats - we think so anyway - we have (between me and my wife and daughter) 3 more just as nice but all different.
There is somewhere on here a 'Sticky' or other instructions giving easy details of how to post pics - that's how I learned to do it and if I can follow them anyone can ;) . Unfortunately I can't find the link now I want it, sorry!
Thanks for the 'middle age' compliment - I'll settle for that any day
Cheers,
The closest I've got to anything of me is the reflection of my 'coupon' (as they say in Glasgow) in my preamp shown here:

...what you can't see of course is the cheeky wee shkirt I had on underneath:

Marco.
Hi John,
Nice pics, but I much prefer the first one of you in the dress - lovely smle, even with closed eyes !! :lolsign:
Cheers,
Yes me in a dress looks good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, there don't seem to be any pictures of me and I've just noticed that I don't appear to cast a reflection in the mirror either. What can that possible mean...?
Cheers:lolsign:
Oh god! My eyes! I'm working from home and DaveC's avatar is back up to warp speed again!!!!

Fess 'up Anyone?
Marco?
I'm not at all sure that this election of a reflection of your complexion is at all satisfactory.
DAVE C. AND CHRIS
Thanks for your assistance, but 'er indoors and I have been through all that and more; even got to posting on Photobucket, but that's where the road runs out. I think we'll have to wait until someone actually shows us. And you think you're a digital duffer? Boy, you've nuttin' on me; you may be middle-aged, but I represent stone-age when it comes to folowing computer-speak.
Hi Mike,
First of all, do you have pictures saved to either 'My Pictures' or 'My Documents' on your hard-drive? :)
If you don't then get whatever images you want to post, saved. If you already have some saved, then click here: http://imageshack.us/
You'll then be on the Imageshack homepage. You don't need to sign-up to use it.
1) Click on the grey coloured tab marked "Browse"; this will cause a pop-up window to appear containing all your images saved in 'My Pictures' on your hard-drive. You will also see a drop-down menu where you can access any images you've saved into 'My Documents'.
2) Simply click on the image you wish to upload in the pop-up window and its file name will appear in front of you. Then click on 'Open'.
You will then see the file name of the image you wish to upload appear in the box on the Imageshack screen.
3) What you then need to do is make sure the 'Upload Images/Videos' box is ticked at the top, not the 'URL' one, and then tick the 'Resize Image' box and select the option '640 x 480 for message boards' from the drop-down window on the right. Then tick the 'remove size/resolution bar from the thumbnail' box underneath.
Then click on 'Start Upload'...
The uploading process will then begin and you'll see an progress indicator bar appear at the top of the screen. Allow it to finish the process - it will take a couple of minutes. Once done, you will be presented by a screen showing pictures of the image you wish to upload.
4) Go over to the right-hand side of the screen and look for the heading 'Get Links and Codes for All Images'. Then select ‘BB Codes’ from the drop-down menu and simply copy and paste the first code at the top (from ‘URL’ to ‘URL’) and paste it into the posting box on the forum, and your chosen image should appear thus (which is then clickable to enlarge, if wanted):

Any problems, just shout!
Marco.
It's actually easier than it sounds! :)

Thanks for the step-by-step info., but I think we're falling down on the 'copy & paste' bit, as our piccies have been on Photobucket for months, as I intimated in my post.
As it's all heathen Greek to me (I'm an analogue man !), I'll leave it to my other half; we'll get there, eventually, with the help of visitors, no doubt.
LOL. I thought my explanation was as easy and straighforward as easy and straightforward can be... Not to worry! :eyebrows:
Marco.
82 posts and about 5 pictures of people... you people have stuff to hide... i trust you all less!! this is godam worse than people who grow big beards... not trust worthy!!
... that said gingers are less trustworthy... are you all ginger??
'Tis said that ginger people have no soul....
My missus is a ginger, so that might explain a few things....
Crap! Shes home!
I'll take exception to that!! What've you got against gingers then??
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/w...9_07250002.jpg
MARCO, your instructions were indeed simple; just not as simple as I am ! Anyway, other brains have been busy, so here goes.
If this works, it'll be even simpler than I am, and I'll have to practise with hifi piccies.
Thanks again.
Way hey, nice one - you got it! :)
Marco.
Fine here you go then.............;)

yeah i heard the no soul ginger thing too
the pale skin and general poor reaction so bright sunlight raises questions too...like maybe they are related to vampires... and you cant trust vampires now can you??!!
these urban legends have to have come from somewhere right?
not wanting to cast aspersions or anything but, it does all adds up if you think about it!
Ok, you asked....

I am beginning to suspect that all these student rail cards are long since valid. By about 20 years...
:-)
20 years? I wish...
Passport photo circa 1976, but I still look exactly the same.
Wish I had all the hair I did when I was at college back in 1975.. I'm under the thumb - and it's a VERY big thumb it seems.........:(
Big aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah for Dave. :lolsign:
