Yeah, I know you like the winter for that and I try to, honestly I do. But if I could, I'd move to the Caribbean :)

Lol... That's one place we intend on visiting now Del and I are retired:)
Marco.
It's a fairly long flight, but worth it.
Did you say you had a relative on St Lucia? Not been to that one but all the Leeward Isles are pretty much the same for terrain and climate.
Antigua and Barbados are a bit too touristy. The one I recommend is this:

Looks nice... I'd probably have to go in the 'cool' season, though:)
Yeah, Del's cousin lives in St Lucia, but she's selling up and moving back to Germany.
Marco.
Lol.... There are plenty of other places we also want to visit, so we'll see how it goes. There are always hotels, such as Martin has listed.

Bit of a damp night, and likely to be rainy for most of the day, max temps 18C. Might get some thunder this afternoon with a bit of luck.
Wet night but 13c and dry just night.
Around eight hours to St Lucia via a very civilised BA premium economy flight with seven inches of extra legroom (I’m. 5’ 11’ and could have my legs straight out in front of me). Food and booze included to [emoji846].
Plenty of films and tv available on their system to and a proper pair of on ear headphones.
I’ve stayed at Aruba, Barbados, Jamaica and St Lucia and visited half a dozen others on a cruise and St Lucia remains my favourite and you can’t go far wrong staying at a Sandals adults only resort.
Yeah it's not too bad, I just hate flying even in business class and even if I have loads of legroom. It's just constant misery for me. I would always go in the airport bookshop and buy the thickest non-fiction book they had (which was usually something about UFOs or Atlantis :)) and that would distract me for about half the flight.
I can't watch TV or films on those tiny little screens. I liked it better in the old days when they had a proper cinema screen and we all watched the same thing. And you could smoke!
