Now *that* is probably something which could lure me away from my Copper amp - if it has 'balls' as well as the stereotypical SET 'niceties' then I'm in there! We can worry about the price later :eyebrows:
Seriously, though, low-power is the thing that turns me off most about SET, as most amps I've heard sound 'lacklustre' in comparison to what I'm used to. I'm loving 30W Class A p/p into my 96db 15" Tannoy Reds... I'm not into the 'weedy' low power/high efficiency speaker route - I'm into high power/high efficiency!! :gig:
So I'd run those Eimacs with my Tannoys, no worries. Feel the force, baby, and get a tan at the same time! :lol:

The heater dissipation alone is 90W/ triode, and of course for optimum performance you would be expected to have these amps constantly powered up. Clearly Marco, you aren't too concerned about global warming!:eyebrows:Quote:
