My 19 year old BMW 323ci was ( unbelievably ) recalled a couple of years ago by the main dealer to have an airbag module replaced. I don't use the car much and it was in a bit of a state, they came and collected it from here, did a mini service and valeted it inside and out. When they bought it back the chap told me he noticed the oil pressure warning light came on but there was plenty of oil and they found the switch was faulty and replaced it. Total cost, nothing, FOC. He said as the ci models are now becoming sought after they did the extra work to keep it nice, can't say fairer than that.
Another MOT passed with no advisories..... :)
A couple of rear tyres and a quick service was all she needed... 120,000 and still going strong.. :)
Changed the rear discs and pads on my Audi Q3 today. Did the fronts on Saturday past so all good now. I’m really well pleased, saved pots of money and got a warm feeling inside having done it myself :)
Spot the difference!

John... shiny :)
The old ones look done for... so glad you managed to replace them yourself...
The only brake stuff we've done was a new set of front pads on the old Merc... got proper Merc pads which were not expensive at all and I think it only took about and hour & half including bleeding ...
The Prius I don't touch, I just put it in for a cheapo service with Toyota each year and get them to do the MOT at the same time... This years bill was about £250 which included a service, new wipers all round, 2 new rear tyres and the MOT which I didn't think was too bad
So hopefully another year of trouble free motoring and upto 65 mpg, can't be bad
That's cheap motoring Nina! .... and good service from your dealer.
I can't think of a car cheaper to run than mine apart from something all electric maybe, which I wouldn't want. Got a hankering for something a bit sportier at the moment though! :)
All electrics are expensive to buyand limit u to distance. In and around London I guess they would be good. I wouldn't say no since getting the hybrid
