It doesn't work - but I knew that when I bought it.
It's for looking at, decorative. :stalks: I think it looks stunning.

The platter spins freely, but when switched on the lights come on but it makes curious grinding noises. :eek: And the stylus is naffed anyway.
I might look into getting it sorted.

Bloody hell, Jerry! You've got one of the finest linear tracking turntables made there - get it fixed (I can give you a phone number) and get the cartridge off to Franz-Josef Schulte in Germany for a re-tip https://www.schallplattennadeln.de/b-o-info-engl.html

(Oh, and take the stylus protector off the detection arm and put it on the cartridge where it should be, there's a good chap - it looks silly there...:D)

Dang thing is too wide for my rack at 54cm, I might try moving things around so I can have a listen in my system but that will entail quite a lot of moving.

Headphone use is tempting but I'll need an unusual configuration of adapter for that - see my Artist's Palette post.

No, just an ordinary receiver - the Grundig central name-plate is just that - decorative not an entry port!

I do like lots of knobs and dials. :eyebrows:

I'll take another pic this evening - I suspect it will look very pretty with the dial lit. :)
