Seriously though, I noticed that he's had 7 offers for it, I would love to know what's been offered:eyebrows:
Postage and packing is a bit of a bargain as well...
just noticed the delivery charge keith, i suppose he thinks everyone lives on the moon, so in that case it's reasonable, i mean yer gonna need a rocket and hiring NASA is expensive these days:lolsign:
have you seen his other stuff, he wants £950 for a marantz receiver, which i guess is a bargain in his eyes:eek:
Off on a different tack here, but has anyone ever considered a laboratory DC power supply for their gear, like one by HP or TTi etc?
They seem to go, or even not sell, for around £30 - £45 and are surely highly highly regulated to the extreme! Must be good for DACs etc..
Such as this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Power-Supply-H...-/200604135019 (OK, this one isn't tested but often they are).
They are normally multi hundred ££ units.. and surely better than any 'super reg' for 3 times the price?
A current auction: A Thurlby Dual supply - try connecting one side to the digital section and the other to the analogue section of your modded CD plater...
Good speakers, but condition is not brilliant, nor is the price.
