Off on a different tack here, but has anyone ever considered a laboratory DC power supply for their gear, like one by HP or TTi etc?
They seem to go, or even not sell, for around £30 - £45 and are surely highly highly regulated to the extreme! Must be good for DACs etc..

as long as they can be adjusted to the correct output for your needs i don't see why not, IMHO anything audiophile related is expensive and in some cases it isn't justified, this may be one of those times;)Quote:
