Nice one, Adam. I do like Mondeos, as the engines are sporty and usually perform very well. I love the interior, which is really tidy, but I'm not keen on the colour of the car itself. However, that's just me. I'd also like to see some fatter, sportier alloys fitted with lower-profile tyres, which I think would set the car off more and showcase its sporty DNA:)

Really is a very nice car. It and the later models were designed by the same team that do work for VW and it shows. Yours has a real peach of an engine too.
Maybe it's a diesel thing. The last Mondeo I had was a 52 plate TDCi and it drove superbly but was an unreliable shed that cost me £1300 in the 5 months that I owned it. In addition, parts prices were double what I was used to as it was diesel - it put me off diesel for life! On the other hand, I later had a petrol Focus and that cost me absolutely nothing in repairs in my 2 years of ownership. As an aside, I was recently looking at its MOT history since I sold it 5 years ago - PASS(No advisories)/PASS(No advisories)/PASS(No advisories)/PASS(Worn tyre)/PASS(No advisories)!Quote:

Certainly expensive to sort out when they go wrong. I sold the car on with the problem (& a number of others) to a friend of a friend who was aware of all the faults, a bit of the exhaust fell off on his journey home.Quote:
